The Naro Moru Cycling Festival Kicks off Tomorrow

With the excitement of the 2026 NMCF building, it's easy to focus on the adventure ahead—but every great ride starts with safety. As we prepare to hit the roads and trails, let's remember to ride responsibly, stay alert and look out for one another.

Because the best finish line is the one you reach safely!

Before We Ride: A Safety Reminder:
  1. This is a green event, we will provide water for the riders however it will be available in the large 20 litre containers. Please carry your reusable water bottles to refill as required.
  2. Helmets are mandatory for all the riders, kids included.
  3. There will be refreshment points along the route; we encourage you to refill your water and stock up on energy at these stops. Please be mindful when disposing of any fruit peel; garbage bags will be provided at the water stops along the route.
  4. The route will be well marked with Marshals wearing branded reflector vests. Please reach out to them for assistance should you find that you are lost, they will assist in directing you as needed.
  5. We encourage you to carry a phone with you as you ride, in case of any emergency, you can contact the emergency number that will be provided at the riders briefing. Recovery services will be provided by boda bodas as the tracks will not allow for normal vehicle access.
  6. There will be a qualified medic at the event to attend to any medical needs. Riders briefing is mandatory and will take place immediately before every event. The GPX tracks may be shared with all registered participants immediately before the race.
Where Art Meets Cycling: Welcome, Mcbullart!

We are delighted to introduce Mcbullart, a self-taught multi-disciplinary Kenyan artist, industrial designer and creative instructor based in Nanyuki, who is supporting the festival by sponsoring the trophies for the Junior Road Race category.

With over eight years of full-time artistic practice, Mcbullart works across visual arts, painting, industrial design, photography, filmmaking and curated live art experiences. His work has reached audiences both locally and internationally, with exhibitions at the White Rabbit Gallery in Sydney, Sanaa Room in Nanyuki and the Mexico-Arte Museum in East Austin, Texas.

His support adds a creative dimension to our celebration of young riders. The Junior Road Race trophies will not simply mark a result on the finish line—they will serve as a reminder of achievement, creativity and the possibilities that open up when young talent is given room to grow.

Hot off the press, prizes donated by Macbullart for the junior category of the road race at the                                              upcoming Naro Moru Cycling Festival

We are proud to welcome Mcbullart to the Naro Moru Cycling Festival family and grateful for adding a creative touch to the podium and helping us honour the next generation of riders!

Together, We Rediscover What Matters with Lusoi Gardens!

Partnering with Lusoi Gardens, we are reminded of what truly matters! Every journey gives us a chance to reconnect with nature, ourselves, and our community. We are thrilled to have them on board for the Naro Moru Cycling Festival as we embrace adventures that reach far beyond the bike and bring us closer together.

Once again, we would like to thank the following partners and sponsors without whom this event would not be possible: Naro Moru River Lodge, TotalEnergies, Melvins Teas, Abayomi, Safari Simbaz, KCRS, Lusoi Gardens.
