A Kenyan chain of hotels, the Alliance Group was set to venture into sports tourism as part of a strategy to grow its market share. The Group had devoted a 72 acre plot of land at its Naro Moru River Lodge in Nanyuki to a biking and racing track for long distance runners, the first of its kind in East Africa.
